Job Description:
Business Improvement Analyst is a minimally supervised
position that participates in pCA Mining Mining Review Africaroject teams and various other organizational improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business to propose tactical targets (Capacity Analysis, Bottleneck Identification, Value at Stake Analysis)
  • Conduct research, trend analyses, feasibility studies and benchmarking exercises to enable process changes toward supporting the overall enhancement of business operations
  • Liaise with departments toward evaluating new technologies to improve process capabilities, product quality and throughput requirements
  • Initiate continuous improvement initiatives leading to cost saving opportunities whilst keeping abreast of new developments within the specialist field
  • Maintain repository of applicable reports
  • Ensure sharing across Business Units and Operations

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Mining Engineering Degree 2 years working in mining environments
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
