A leading mineral resources company has a position for a HR Business Partner for their offices in the Northern Cape

Responsibilities:People Management

  • Advise line management of best approach and solution to People Management challenges in alignment with relevant policies & procedures
  • Performance Management
  • Assist line management to identify poor performers and facilitate appropriate interventions to improve productivity
  • Employee Relations
  • Provide advice to managers consistent with legislation, agreements and business considerations
  • Develop labour relations competencies of all line managers and shop stewards in accordance with regional and national policies
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Identify vacancies/new positions with line management and decide on the appointment method (internal/external)
  • Draft advert according to job profile specifications and send to the Resourcing Coordinator
  • Administer the applications and draft the list of applicants

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years’ relevant experience
  • Proven knowledge of Labour Law, Industrial Relations and HR management
  • Knowledge of key HR functions such as Recruitment, HR Administration, Training and Development and HRIS and Compensation management knowledge
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Leadership skills
