My client is a supplier to the international mining sector with offices in South Africa. They are currentCA Mining Mining Review Africaly seeking an HR Coordinator to manage their expatriate administration for their Ghana operations from their office in Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing monthly Expat Payroll for JKs approval
  • Expat Payroll submission to SAER for execution
  • Management of In Country Allowances
  • Producing Statements of Earnings for Expats
  • Pay slips
  • Accrued Leave calculation and shift to database
  • Approval and Coding of Expat Invoices
  • Chasing up Work Permits
  • Seeing to all Salary queries
  • Obtaining the SWIFTS for Expat salary payments
  • Reviewing Employee files to ensure that all personal information is complete – such as banking details
  • Length of service calculations
  • Salary calculations for annual reports
  • TCC’s for expats within Ghana
  • Confirmation of employment letters
  • Updating medical details on intranet
  • Ensuring annual health checks
  • Expat insurance administration
  • Personal integration for all expats
  • Processing Intercompany transfers and secondments within the group
  • Updating insurance register for expats/consultants/secondments
  • Consulting agreements
  • Liaising with IT on terminations
  • Managing all On boarding and Terminations
  • Expat document filing within a cloud service
  • Roster vs cost analysis
  • Analysis of expat oncosts for tenders
  • Barclays online payments for Ghanaian expats
  • Ensuring expats comply with local mining regulation statues – ie mining tickets / certifications

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources or related area
  • 5 years experience in a similar HR support role

Contractual information:

  • Permanent contract reporting into the office General Manager
  • South African Market Related Salary
  • Location: East Rand, Gauteng
