Sovereign Metals had the opportunity to host Malawian Government officials at the Company’s operations.
The discussions and site visit were led by the Company’s MD, Dr Julian Stephens.
The Government delegation was headed by Malawi’s Honourable Minister of Mining, Rashid Gaffar visiting the Company’s Kasiya Rutile Project (Kasiya), where the core drilling program continues.
The Company also held discussions with the Republic of Malawi’s Right Honourable Vice President, Dr Saulos Klaus Chilima providing an update on Kasiya and plans for its development.
The Honourable Minister of Mining Rashid Gaffar commented:
“The Government of Malawi is committed to developing the mining industry and fully supports Sovereign Metals’ efforts on their high-quality minerals projects like Kasiya that have the potential to contribute significantly to the country’s economy.”
