A great line up of topics focussing on ‘The key to profitability’ will form the backbone of the Southern African Coal Processing Society’s biennial conference taking place in Secunda next week from August 22 to 24 2017.
A few examples of technical sessions are tailings disposal and water savings, new developments in coal analysis, new plants and projects and coal processing research.
Over the past few years the Society’s endeavours to enhance education through promoting local technology and utilising home grown talent has proved to be highly beneficial for the betterment of coal processing. Funds for this non-profitmaking event will be used for bursaries etc.
The conference is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), and 3 CPD points are given for the full conference or 1 CPD point per day.
To make this event possible the Coal Africa 2017 Networking Arena forms an integral part of the conference’s success and connect with the industry.
The opening cocktail function, takes place from August 21 at Graceland Conference Centre in Secunda.
