Job Description:
An international mining company with a gold project in the Ivory Coast is looking to hire a Process Technical Trainer. The role will assess processing staff at all levels to identify potential deficiencies in their skill sets and develop and implement a technical trainer program to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the processing team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the scheduling of training for all members of the Process Team, as per their specific annual development goals
- Develops annual training budget and reports actual performance against budgets and plans
- Develop plans to prioritise tasks and allocate resources to support the delivery of training objects
- Deliver operational and practical training, and assessment to a large number of staff
- Deliver ongoing training and assessment that reflects processing requirements
- Tailor and adapt training content and materials to various levels in the processing plant
- Review and Improve the process training matrix
- Develop training material
- Deliver theoretical and practical training for the Process team
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Relevant qualification in Metallurgy, Chemistry or Process Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in process plant environments
- Experience in technical training facilitation in processing and fixed plant maintenance
- Experience in gold plant operations, especially in crushing, milling and maintenance
- Ability to lead, coach and encourage a strong development culture for all team members to ensure progressive development of skills
- Report and advise on necessary changes in behavior and culture to align with the company values
- Good knowledge of Process and Maintenance activities
- Capacity to communicate well on all levels, in both English and French
