Over this period Vibramech has developed and supplied a comprehensive range of multi-slope (banana) screens, inclined or horizontal deck screens, de-watering screens, grizzly feeders and pan feeders for the coal processing industry.
Vibramech combines a vast wealth of process design expertise with proven equipment design capabilities to engineer efficient solutions for its clients’ specific requirements.
Not only does this enable the company to specify and supply the full range of vibrating equipment to large Greenfield projects, but also affords it the flexibility to tailor-make machines for retrofit, and to improve performance in existing plant layouts.
All Vibramech equipment is designed and manufactured at its factory in Chamdor, Johannesburg.
This gives it complete control over scheduling and quality. The design process incorporates finite element analysis (FEA), 3D modelling and a great deal of experience. For new designs of large equipment, prototypes are built and tested using strain gauge analysis in order to prove the design.
Modern coal plant design is shifting to high capacity modules which require large vibrating equipment.
The Vibramech screen range includes multi-slope screens of up to 4.27 m wide to cater to this requirement. The company has in fact supplied pan feeders with unit capacities in excess of 5 000 tph of washed coal.
In addition to the supply of new equipment, Vibramech offers cost effective refurbishment of existing equipment.
Whilst restoring this equipment to original condition, it can also incorporate modifications or upgrades to the equipment which allow customers to benefit from the company’s continual product enhancement.
Field services crews are also available to advise on equipment refurbishments and to assist with on-site installation of components, or with equipment repairs.
Vibramech has the southern Africa licence to distribute Liwell screens. These screens are designed specifically to remove fines from difficult to screen materials in dry screening applications.
