Gem Diamonds recovers two +100 carat diamonds

The high quality diamonds include one 117 and one 110 carat, D colour Type IIa diamond from the Letšeng mine in Lesotho.

Gem Diamonds’ most recent diamond recovery prior to these two include the recovery of a 202 carat, D colour Type IIa diamond, also from Letšeng min, in November 2017.

The 202 carat diamond was the seventh diamond of over 100 carats to be recovered in 2017 from Letšeng – the highest dollar per carat kimberlite diamond mine in the world.
