Canadian gold producer Caledonia Mining Corporation, the 49%- owner of the Blanket gold mine in Zimbabwe, has declared its ninth quarterly dividend of $0.01125 per share on Tuesday.

In line with Caledonia’s recent move to report its financial statements in US Dollars, the company revised its quarterly dividend to pay $0.01125 each quarter, which amounts to $0.45 per annum.

It is currently envisaged that the existing dividend policy of $0.45 per annum, paid in equal quarterly installments will be maintained. Caledonia will also continue to maintain its strong financial position so that it can implement its stated growth strategy without the need to raise third party finance, the company said in a statement.
