Diamcor Mining has recovered another gem quality “special” diamond in the 10.8+ carat category from its Krone-Endora at Venetia Project in South Africa’s Limpopo province.

The recovery of the 43.9 carat gem quality “special” diamond was incidental to the ongoing commissioning and testing exercises being performed at the project. Diamcor has delivered the rough diamond to tendering facilities for initial evaluation and preparation for sale at upcoming tender, and expects that it will prove to be one of the higher value rough diamonds recovered from the project to date.

The TSX-listed company has a well-established operational and production history in South Africa, extensive experience supplying rough diamonds to the world market, and has established a long-term strategic alliance with world famous Tiffany & Co.

Last October, Diamcor sold its first large gem-quality diamond for $817 920 at auction.
