Johannesburg, South Africa — MININGREVIEW.COM — 25 September 2008 – Anglo Platinum (Angloplat) – the world’s leading primary producer of platinum group metals – has announced the appointment of Kuseni Dlamini as non-executive director.

Dlamini – who was appointed head of South African operations earlier this year by Anglo American – replaces Philip Baum, who has resigned with immediate effect.

Dlamini recently left Richards Bay Coal Terminal where he was executive chairman since 2005. Previously, he had worked for De Beers in South Africa and at its London Office, and for AngloGold Ashanti’s Corporate Office in Johannesburg.
