Mining and energy to boost DRC’s development
Leading mining personalities in the DRC and in the mining sector are heading up a distinguised list of cabinet ministers, experts and business leaders at tbe event which always enjoys a high level of government participation.
iPAD DRC project director Soren du Preez says as the DRC embraces 50 years of independence, it has identified its mineral and energy wealth to inject capital back into local communities and build the foundations for prosperity. “Just recently the Ministry of Energy pledged to work ever more closely with the Ministry of Mines in order to support growth of industrial operations within the country”, says du Preez.
