Endeavour Mining delists from ASX

African gold miner Endeavour Mining has, at its own request, been removed from the official list of the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), but will continue to be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).

Endeavour Mining CEO Neil Woodyer says that it had delisted from the ASX owing to administrative, compliance and legal expenses, which could no longer be justified “given the low levels of trading on the ASX relative to its TSX listing.”

“We are starting 2016 with a continued focus on corporate efficiency,” he said, adding that the company would also be transferring its investor relations and administrative office from Vancouver to Paris.

Vincent Benoit, who joined Endeavour Mining in November 2015, following the transaction with La Mancha, has assumed the role of heading up our investor relations program from Paris.

Benoit has over 25 years of corporate finance and investor relations experience and is a registered chartered accountant.
