Johannesburg, South Africa — MININGREVIEW.COM — 03 May 2008 – Aquarius Platinum Limited – a focused platinum group metals producer in southern Africa which is listed on the Australian, London and Johannesburg stock exchanges – says the entire workforce at its Everest platinum mine is back at work today, following an agreement between management and employee representatives.

A statement released by the company here today said: “Both parties have resolved to work together to build a constructive climate of engagement in the future.”

The company revealed that it had lost a total of 1 950 oz of PGM’s as a result of the illegal strike. It announced last Wednesday that 42 machine-operating workers at Everest had launched the strike, and had been joined in the work stoppage the next day by 1 300 underground employees.
