Leading provider of intuitive software solutions and services to the mining industry, MICROMINE, has been honoured for a fourth consecutive year at the Top Engineering Awards ceremony, hosted on 25 September 2014 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
MICROMINE was again successful in the Engineering Mining/Metals/Steel – Software of Exploration, Geology/Production Control of Mines Category. MICROMINE Brazil regional manager Dr Beck Nader says: “We are proud to have received this significant award for a fourth year in a row. I am thrilled that the outstanding calibre of our solutions has been formally recognised by key industry figures.”
Since establishing a permanent presence in Brazil in 2009, MICROMINE has increased its market share substantially. Nader states that the company has become one of the leading providers of software solutions and services to the market. “This award is testament to the company’s success within the region,” he continues.
MICROMINE, which also boasts a strong presence in Africa, recently launched the latest version of its exploration and mine design solution, Micromine 2014, and will release the new versions of its field-logging and mine operations systems, Geobank Mobile 2 and Pitram 2015 in the near future. These versions continue the company’s tradition of developing software designed to enhance efficiencies and will further strengthen MICROMINE’s offering to the African mining community.
