Redpath Mining appoints new GM

Redpath Mining South Africa – a provider of comprehensive shaft-sinking and underground mining services – has appointed Gillieam Christoffel Munnik as the company’s general manager: engineering.

Gillieam holds national diplomas in electrical engineering, as well as a government certificate of competency. He has also undertaken courses in risk assessment, mechanised mining, concrete technology and project management.

His extensive experience in contract management, project management as well as the sinking of vertical and incline shafts makes him a valuable asset to Redpath Mining.
