Savannah Resources’ 4 000m scout drilling programme at its 180 km² Jangamo heavy mineral sands project is now halfway complete.
Heavy Mineral Sands mineralisation can be seen in multiple holes drilled to date, suggesting Savannah could potentially have a major deposit on its hands. A first batch of samples are to be dispatched this week with results expected in 4-6 weeks. Before then the results of a low level heliborne magnetic and radiometric survey which is looking to identify the geophysical signature of the deposits are due.
Savannah Resources remains on track to define a maiden JORC compliant resource by the end of the year.
